Morocco, Gabon to Activate Cooperation in Handicraft

Morocco and Gabon agreed to activate bilateral cooperation in handicraft and small and medium sized enterprises.
The decision was made at a meeting in Rabat Thursday between Moroccan secretary of State for handicraft, Hassan Maaouni and visiting Gabonese minister of trade, tourism, industrial development and handicraft, Alfred Mabicka.
The two sides signed minutes providing for several joint actions geared towards the promotion of cooperation in handicraft, exchange of expertise and development of partnership between the two countries'craftsmen.
The two sides also decided that businessmen operating in the field of handicraft would sit in the business council, which is to be set up shortly.
Alfred Mabicka is visiting Morocco part of a Gabonese ministerial delegation that also comprises the ministers of foreign affairs, defense, and agriculture.
The delegation started its work visit to Morocco Sunday to examine with Moroccan officials ways to re-launch bilateral cooperation.
