Arab economic integration meeting in Damascus

The first economic meeting for Arab economists and businessmen that is organized by the international Maemoun Center -- under auspices of the Arab League's general trusteeship -- will be held at the premises of the Damascus international fair on June 20 - 27.
The meeting will discuss Arab economic integration issues, its requirements, its obstacles, the existing investment opportunities in the Arab states and the challenges confronting the joint Arab market through revising all sectors of the Arab economic sectors and cooperation areas.
Discussion will also cover the subjects of available investment projects in the Arab states, the possibility of turning it to joint corporations and financing by investors as well as Arab investment finance corporations. Ways of improve export activities inside and outside the Arab states will be dealt with.
