Abu Mousa: It is not time for military action from Lebanon
Lebanon-Palestine, Politics, 6/9/2000
The secretary of the Fatah-uprising movement (pro Syria) Abu Mousa stressed the "stand of the Palestinian people beside our brothers in Lebanon." He congratulated the Lebanese "over this great victory and all who helped and worked and struggled for liberating south Lebanon"
Abu Mousa's statements were made after he had visited the speaker of the Lebanese parliament together with the delegation of the Palestinian forces alliance. He added " this victory in which all Lebanese forces took part, represented by the president, the speaker of parliament, the prime minister, the government, the national forces and all social strata and communities was attained by all and is for all."
Replying to a question on whether they will continue military operation from Lebanon to liberate Palestine, Abu Moussa said "The present time is not for this action. We believe that the area of the Palestinian Jihad struggle is now inside Palestine."
