Elder son of the Yemeni President treated in Germany

Diplomatic sources in Dubai said the elder son of the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who assumes the post of leading the special units in the Yemeni army, has been treating in Germany after being wounded in a car accident in Yemen.

A diplomat living in Sanaa said that Col. Ahmad Ali Abdullah Saleh was wounded in his leg when his collided with a tuck on Tuesday in the western suburb of the capital Sanaa. The source added that Ahmad was taken to Germany and his "injury is not dangerous."

Col. Saleh is leading the special units in the army besides the Republic's guards unit which was formed in April to fight terrorism. Col. Ahmad also is a member at the Yemeni parliament.

Col.'s Ahmad medical treatment in Germany is coincided with the official visit his father is holding to this country since June 4.
