Yemen, Judicial, 6/8/2000
The Yemeni security bodies arrested yesterday (Yemeni and non-Yemeni) professors at the faculty of medicine at Sanaa University as the investigation into the mass murder of several women expands.
Informed security sources asserted that "the killer stated new confessions that refer to the involvement of some professors in the faculty in a dangerous corruption network" saying that the investigation is beginning to unravel the mystery of the crimes committed at the university morgue.
The sources referred that there are exceptional procedures which the security bodies started to implement to collect evidence and to expand the investigation with persons who's names have been exposed in the investigation among whom are Yemeni, Iraqi and Sudanese university professors.
