Hungarian premier meets Moroccan parliament speakers

Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, held separate meetings here Wednesday with the speakers of the two chambers of the Moroccan parliament, Abdelouahed Radi and Jalal Essaid.
The Hungarian Premier hailed the stability prevailing in Morocco and the progress scored regarding the consecration of democracy and the rule of the law.
Viktor Orban, who started on Tuesday a three-day official visit to Morocco, the first ever by a Hungarian Prime Minister to the kingdom, voiced his country's determination to upgrade relations with Morocco that he described as "the gate to the Arab world."
Both sides expressed resolve to consolidate economic and cultural ties and underlined the need to involve the private sector in the endeavor.
The Hungarian Premier was received on Tuesday in Casablanca, shortly after arrival, by King Mohammed VI.
The visiting Prime Minister is accompanied by a large delegation including ministers of the interior and of social affairs, the secretaries of state for foreign affairs, economy and education, and several businessmen.
