Moroccan- Malian joint commission winds up

The third session of Moroccan-Malian joint commission wound up in Rabat Tuesday with the signing of the session's minutes.
The document, signed by Moroccan foreign minister Mohamed Benaissa and Malian peer, Modibo Sidibe, provides for enhancing economic and partnership relations between the two countries through a closer cooperation between bodies in charge of export promotion and the two countries' chambers of commerce and participation of economic operators in trade events held in Morocco and Mali.
To promote trade exchanges and investments, the two sides agreed to finalize the non double taxation draft agreement and another agreement promotion on promotion and protection of investment.
Morocco and Mali further decided to promote cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, handicraft, culture and sciences, youth and sports, communication and religion.
The Moroccan-Malian joint commission, set up in March 1987, met twice, in March 1989 and June 1997.
