Libya builds an Islamic university in Nigeria

Libya and the Nigerian A. G Feraryu company for contracts have signed a special contract providing for Libya to finance setting up of an Islamic university in Kanou city in Northern Nigeria at a cost of US $ 300 million.
The Nigerian Post express remarked in a news published in its Monday's issue and quoted by AFP that Muhammad Ali, the representative of the Libyan President Muammar al-Qaddafi had signed the contract with the Nigerian company by the end of last week.
But the paper did not set a date for starting the construction of the university which will be held on an area of 137 hectares, SANA reported.
