Lebanese clergy confers with Palestinian Islamic Jihad delegation

Chairman of the Higher Shiite Islamic council Sheikh Muhammad Mahdi Shams eddine on Tuesday in Beirut received a delegation representing the Palestinian national resistance movement ( Islamic Jihad) in Palestine, led by the movement's secretary general Ramadan Abdullah Shalah.
The two sides discussed Arab and Islamic conditions and the Arab Israeli conflict in light of the victory attained by Lebanon through the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon. Stressing that this Lebanese victory is an example to be followed.
