Russia's Putin sends message to king Mohammed

Russian vice-foreign minister, Vassily Sredine, arrived in Casablanca Monday with a message from President Vladimir Putin of Russia to King Mohammed VI.
The Russian official who is visiting Morocco part of a Maghreban tour that will lead him to Algeria and Tunisia held a meeting shortly after arrival with secretary of state for foreign affairs, Taieb Fassi Fihri.
The two men discussed means of upgrading bilateral relations and looked into a set of topical international and regional issues and into questions of mutual concern.
The Russian official will also confer with Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation on bilateral relations.
The visit is part of permanent consultations between the two countries and is meant to exchange viewpoints on several international issues.
