GCC water, electricity ministers meet today in al-Riyadh

The ministers of electricity and water at the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC hold their 12th meeting at the GCC general secretariat in al-Riyadh today to discuss several electricity and water projects of concern to the GCC member states.
The GCC assistant secretary general for economic affairs Ajlan al-Kawari said in a press statement on Monday that the meeting will deal with issues relating to electricity grid among the gulf states, steps to register the electricity grid commission in Qatar, as well as issues relating to technical cooperation in various electrical and water committees.
