Prince and Princess Takamado of Japan visit sites in Morocco

Prince and Princess Takamado of Japan who started on Friday a friendly visit to the Kingdom, at the invitation of King Mohammed VI, visited over the weekend several social institutions and monuments.

On Saturday, they visited the Ibn Baitar institution for disabled children in Khemisset, 60-km northeast of Rabat, and handed presents to the residents. The institution benefits from Japanese assistance.

They equally made a trip to the Roman Volubilis Site and visited the imperial city of Meknes.

The princes of Japan who are visiting Morocco for the third time on Sunday visited the royal stables in Bouznika and were guest Friday to a dinner-reception hosted in their honor by the Moroccan Royal Football Federation "FRMF."

The football team of Japan is participating, along with France, Jamaica and Morocco, in the Hassan II International Cup taking place in Casablanca June 4 through 6.

Visits to some kasbah in southern Morocco are also on the Princes' schedule.
