Veterinary students call for increasing animal stock medicare
Morocco, Agriculture, 6/5/2000
Participants in the 1st forum held by the Moroccan Association of Veterinary Students Saturday called for increasing medicare to animal stock, threatened by drought.
The association which met on "animal health, human health: a double mission for veterinarians," insisted on the increasing role of veterinarians in times of drought. They also insisted that consumers' health should also be the focus of veterinarians who should monitor the good quality of food products and face Mediterranean countries' competition.
The forum, set to become an annual encounter, means to offer students an opportunity to meet professionals and ponder on how stock-breeding and veterinary medicine can be developed in Morocco.
