Senegal renews backing to Morocco's territorial integrity
Morocco-Senegal, Politics, 6/5/2000

Morocco backs Senegal's territorial integrity and Dakar reciprocates with clear-cut support to the defense of the kingdom's territorial unity, Senegalese foreign minister Sheikh Tidiane Gadio said. Assessing results of President Wade's tour to France, Nigeria, Morocco and Libya, Gadio said "We fully support Morocco" in the holding of UNO-sponsored referendum open to all sahrawis.

President Wade clearly showed during his official visit to the kingdom that Senegal had the same views and stand as Morocco on major political issues in the continent, the head of Senegalese diplomacy said.
