Sudanese serial killer allegations are baseless, says official news

Bani Al-Aarith Primary Court has continued hearings against Mohammed Adam Omar who is accused of killing and raping a number of women at the Faculty of Medicine of a Yemeni university.

Meanwhile, Head of Sana'a governorate court Ahmed Hayel Othman disclosed that three of the victims are confirmed in the prior investigations are still alive. The alleged victims names are Nada Yassin Mohammed Saeed, Nour Al-A'ain and Yassmin Al-Sabahi indicated that Adam claims are baseless and false, the official Yemen news agency reported.

The news report said "The first one is in Al-Hodeidah city with her mother, while the second is living in Sana'a and both of them are attending Saturday and Sunday hearing session." adding that one of the persons reported to have been a victim by a local news paper is filing a lawsuit against what they described as an "opposition" newspaper.
