Palestine blames Israel for peace process halt
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 6/3/2000
The Palestinian leadership fully blamed Israel for the complete halt in negotiations between the two sides despite the multiple meetings and communications that took place between them.
Following their weekly meeting last night in Ram Allah city headed by the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, the leadership asked the U.S administration to make a new effective effort that guarantees achieving progress on the Palestinian - Israeli track and carrying out the signed agreements as well as the international legitimacy resolutions.
The statement added that the cases of Jerusalem and the refugees are considered at the heart of the peace process - assuring that no peace agreement will be signed until the return of Jerusalem and considering it Palestine's capital.
