U.S peace envoy visits Middle East today
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 6/3/2000

The peace on the Israeli - Palestinian track is swinging between a total halt and slow movement for being unable to reach final and real settlement that lead to the just peace.

This is despite tens of declarations of Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Barak during which he declares responding to the Palestinian demands concerning the final status negotiations that tackle decisive subjects for both sides like the problems of water, stopping establishing the settlements in the Palestinian lands including Jewdization of eastern Jerusalem, establishing the Palestinian state, the refugees, compensating them and relations with the neighbor countries.

The U.S.A is moving to break this deadlock as U.S envoy Dennis Ross is arriving today in the region to prepare for the visit to area of the U.S secretary of state Madeleine Albright.

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat is due to head to the US within days to meet the U.S secretary of state and the U.S President Bill Clinton.
