Moussa: continuos discussions concerning the peace process on the Palestinian track

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa said that Egypt is continuing its communications concerning the status of the Palestinian talks with Israel and the developments in Lebanon.

Concerning whether there were Egyptian - Syrian communications on the future of the situation in Lebanon after the Israeli withdrawal from the south - Moussa asserted that these communications comes in the frame of solidarity with Lebanon, referring that Lebanon is an independent country and Egypt as well as Syria could not convene to decide what are the coming steps for Lebanon.

Concerning the coming meeting of Damascus declarations countries on Monday - Moussa said that the Cairo meeting is an important one during which a comprehensive revision for all items of Damascus Declaration will take place.
