Algeria: Private electricity stations soon; government monopoly to end

Algerian sources told ArabicNews.com that local and Arab as well as foreign businessmen will be allowed to build and own electricity stations and related services before end of this year, referring that this step is a part of the Algerian government's strategy for increasing electricity production and liberating the market to end the monopoly of the governmental company Sonlgar.
