Arab states called to help rebuild south Lebanon

Secretary general of Arab inter-parliamentary union, Moroccan MP Noureddine Bouchkoug, urged Arab governments and organizations to contribute to the reconstruction and recovery of south Lebanon. Bouchkoug, who was addressing a session of the Lebanese parliament held in a village in south Lebanon, said the Lebanese victory, following Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon, can serve as a starting point for a pan-Arab dynamic likely to re-launch Arab solidarity for the fulfillment of Arab nation's noble objectives.
The Lebanese parliament decided to meet in south Lebanon to show the interest it gives to the rebuilding of the southern liberated zones and to the well-being of the local population.
