Senior Syrian delegation visits Lebanon to congratulate on victory

The Lebanese daily al-Safir said today that a high ranking Syrian delegation including Bashar al-Assad, the defense minister Mustafa Tlass, the commander of the Syrian forces working in Lebanon Lt. Gen. Ibrahim al-Safi, the chairman of the Syrian intelligence in Lebanon Lt.
Gen. Ghazi Kanaan will today visit the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud to congratulate him on the victory against the Israeli occupation forces.
The visiting Syrian delegation will have their lunch at the banquet of the secretary general of the Hizbullah party in Lebanon Hassan Nasrullah.
