Kuwaiti Oma council urges on contributing in Lebanon's reconstruction campaign

The Kuwaiti Council was urged to contribute in the campaign of reconstructing south Lebanon and have a public campaign for collecting donations. Deputy Ahmad El-Saedoun said "liberating the south is a strong message to the regimes which spent billions on the weapons -- not for liberation but for reaching surrender treaties -- adding that Lebanon does not need statements of support or visits, but it needs the financial support." He asked the government to establish a fund for reconstructing Lebanon saying that the Lebanese ran to regain their lands and liberated it while the Arabs run to normalize relations with Israel.
