Spanish MPs turn down PSOE motion on fisheries

Spanish MPS turned down Tuesday a motion by the socialist labor party (PSOE) urging the government to adopt all necessary political measures to secure a new fishing agreement between Morocco and the European Union, EFE reports.
The PSOE move was foiled with 177 negative votes while only 126 MPS voted in its favor making socialist MP Jose Blanco voice his party's concern over total absence of a fishing strategy on the part of Madrid to press on for Spanish interests in Brussels.
