Morocco-Switzerland, Economics, 5/31/2000
Moroccan ambassador to Switzerland, Abdelmajid Alem, invited businessmen and economic operators of Zurich to seize the investment opportunities offered by Morocco.
At a meeting earlier this week with Zurich authorities, the diplomat briefed his interlocutors on the progress scored by Morocco at the political, economic and social levels, laying a special emphasis on the promotion of human rights and the rule of the law.
The diplomat expounded the broad lines of the Moroccan privatization program and the legal and administrative measures adopted to provide a sound environment and all guarantees to investors.
Talks also touched on the situation of the 800 Moroccan nationals settled in the Zurich Canton and on the initiatives made by local authorities to facilitate their integration while preserving their cultural values.
