Omar Kabbaj unanimously reelected on top of ADB

Former Moroccan minister Omar Kabbaj was unanimously re-elected Monday on top of the Abidjan-based African Development Bank (ADB).
The council of ADB governors and African development fund, meeting in Dakar in an emergency session, also approved reports on the financial year expired Dec. 31,1999, allotment of ADB net revenues totaling 123,5 million count units end of Dec. 99 and revised share-transfer regulations.
Kabbaj, the only candidate to his own succession, was credited by most ADB member countries of a positive first five-year term and praised for efficient management of the group.
