Morocco, France pass police and security agreements
Morocco-France, Judicial, 5/31/2000
Moroccan Interior Minister Ahmed El Midaoui and French peer Jean-Pierre Chevenement signed in Paris Tuesday two cooperation agreements in matters of police, civilian protection and security.
Police cooperation deals with the fight against organized-crime at the international scale, smuggling of human beings and illegal immigration connections, document-fraud, theft of works of art, drug and terrorism issues.
The second agreement passed provides for trade of experiments and know-how, crisis-management and prevention of major risks.
El Midaoui and party meet today Paris' Police chief Massoni and visit the Prefecture and the command-center.
