Egypt discuss exporting natural gas to 6 Mediterranean countries

The work group for exporting Egyptian natural gas finished making an economic and technical report about the executive time programs for exporting 14 Trillion - Cubic feet to 6 Mediterranean countries.

The report comes in the framework of discussing Egypt's needs of the gas, which are 42 trillion cubic feet and then specifying 1/3 for export and the rest for fulfilling needs of economic and social developments as well as for the housing sectors.

The report which was received by Egyptian oil minister Sameh Fahim said that requests which the general organization for petroleum received so far reach 37 trillion cubic meters which were demanded by the 6 countries in view of the signed understanding notes with those countries.
