Aleppo's new thermal power station opened

A celebration was held in Aleppo on Sunday, under the patronage of President Hafez al-Assad, on the inauguration of a thermal power station, 25 kilometers off the Aleppo- Raqqa main road.
The station includes five system generating units each at a capacity of 213,megawatt ampere.
The station was founded on over 827,000 meter area having also 311 housing units for workers with all facilities and services.
Works started in the project carried out by the Japanese " Mitsubishi Hi Fi Industries Limited" company.
