Arab League chief to attend the Francophonic conference in Paris

The secretary general of the Arab League Ismat Abdul Meguid has stated that the visit he started on Sunday to France to attend the conference of the International Organization for the Francophonic will be a chance to hold talks with high ranking French officials.
In a pre-departure statement at Cairo's airport. He said that the talks he will concentrate on Arab- French relations, the situation in the Middle East region and means of strengthening peace, security and stability in South Lebanon and the role by the peace keeping forces to this effect.
The AL chief added he will also hold talks with governments officials, taking part at the Francophonic Conference and will ask him to give urgent material and humanitarian aids to certain states.
