Moroccan and French cities sign cooperation agreement

Moroccan southwestern city of Essaouira and French Rochelle signed on Friday a convention to cooperate in tourism, culture, maritime activity, environment, handicraft, administration and water sports. The convention means to start partnership between the two cities' social, cultural, scientific and economic milieus, to promote local development.
La Rochelle officials presented a project to build a square bearing the name of Essaouira.
