Moroccan Sahara association foils Polisario events in Seville
Morocco, Politics, 5/26/2000

The Moroccan Sahara Association NGO stood in the way of several festive events staged on the week-end by Polisario separatists forcing them to cancel most of planned propaganda activity in Seville, southern Spain.

The fund-raising event turned into a total flop when Sahrawis of the NGO handed out thousands of leaflets, stating real facts about the conflict, showing how the separatists were constantly rekindling tension in the Maghreb region and violating, on a daily basis, human rights in Tindouf camps where thousands of Moroccan Sahrawis are sequestrated and denied the right to return to their homeland, Morocco.

The head-organizer had to cancel a press-conference because of lack of reporters and the pseudo-fair walls were completely covered with Moroccan flags and posters at the dismay of the helpless mercenaries.
