An invitation for Mubarak to visit Malta

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received an invitation to visit Malta before the end of the current year.

The invitation was delivered by foreign minister of Malta Joseph Borg who is concluding his visit to Cairo today. Borg expressed his hope that the visit would take place during the current year referring that it will be a good message to the people of Malta who appreciate the joint relations between the two countries.

Borg depicted his visit to Cairo of being positive through a series of meetings with ministers of education, electricity and communication to exchange points of view concerning the cooperation among countries of the Mediterranean Sea and participating in the Euro - Mediterranean forum as well as in Barcelona process in addition to means of supporting the bilateral relations between the 2 countries.
