Gulf states ministerial meeting to be held in June

A diplomat in the Arab Gulf region stated on Wednesday that the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC will hold a meeting on June 3 and 4 in Jeddah on the Red Sea.
The diplomat who asked not to be identified said that the foreign ministers of the GCC six member states of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain will discuss cooperation relations among their own states, the situation and in the Gulf region and the Arab states.
This meeting, however, comes on the eve of a meeting to be held in Cairo by the foreign ministers of the Damascus Declaration Signatory states, which are the Gulf states in addition to Syria and Egypt.
The "Damascus Declaration" which was signed in March 1991 following the Gulf war states multifaceted cooperation among its member states, but such a cooperation has net yet been materialized.
