Lebanese president hails national unity in eliminating occupation

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud highly commended Syria's backing for Lebanon and its national resistance in confrontation of the Israeli occupation.
In a speech he delivered at the Church of Rmish town following a tour he made on the international Lebanese borders with Israel, the Lebanese president said that the national unity among the Lebanese citizens foiled all attempts made by Israel to undermine Lebanon.
President Lahoud called on all the citizens of the liberated villages of al-Ama al-Shaab, Rmish, Eil Abel, and Bint Jbeil and shared this victory of liberation with the Lebanese people.
The Lebanese president held contacts with the ministers and administrations concerned to accelerate services to the liberated areas.
