Polish president to visit Israel
Israel-Syria-Poland, Politics, 5/25/2000

It was announced in Warsaw on Wednesday that the Polish President will hold his second visit to Israel next week in order to hold talks on the ME peace process and to discuss trade relations and investments between the two sides.

Polish Presidential aid Andrea Mickoveski said that the Polish President will also discuss during his visit to Israel which will last for three-days an Israeli request to increase the number of Polish peace-keeping troops in the occupied Syrian Golan heights, following the Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon.

The Polish President will also meet with the Israeli President Ezra Weisman and the Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak. He will also deliver a speech before the Israeli Knesset and will visit the Polish soldiers working within UNDOF.
