Maguid assures cohesion of Lebanese and Syrian tracks in the peace process

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abd El-Maguid informed the U.N and the Organization of African Unity as well as other countries of the necessity of the cohesion in the Lebanese - and Syrian tracks in the negotiations with Israel.

This came in a message sent by Abd El-Maguid during which he demanded support for Lebanon in receiving compensation due to the occupation of its land and setting up trials for war the crime of the Qana massacre and others.

Abd El-Maguid informed international organizations with the necessity that Iraq implements the security council's resolution N 1284 while he focused on the necessity to have a specific time for ending sanctions on Iraq, assuring that these sanctions caused the Iraqi people severe damages and should end.
