Sudanese opposition: We are ready for talk with the government if our demands are met

The Sudanese opposition alliance assured that they are waiting for the Sudanese government's reply on their demand for preparing the atmosphere for discussions to pave for a complete political solution to Sudan's problem.
Leadership sources in the opposition Sudanese alliance said in press declarations today that "the alliance will be ready for discussion with the government if its demands which where delivered to the technical committee of the Egyptian - Libyan initiative are met.
The technical committee of the Egyptian - Libyan initiative is set to begin its works in Khartoum soon. The sources added that the note asked the government to end emergency measures, canceling random detention operations, canceling powers which give the government the right of administrative suspension and administrative oversight against newspapers, canceling article N (21) of the law of the political parties which restricts freedom of the political work, canceling the current law of the union work and replacing it with the law of year 1987 as well as canceling the legal profession law and replace it with law of year 1983.
