Syrian prisoners in Israeli jails: Israel violates human rights

The Syrian Cabinet on Tuesday held a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro. The ministers were briefed on the content of the message the prime minister had received from the Syrian prisoners of the occupied Golan in the Israeli jails.
The message speaks about ways of torture and repression carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against them.
The message said " The Israeli measures against the Syrian and Palestinian prisoners totally violate rights and all international norms and rules concerning prisoners."
The message praised the national stances of President Hafez al-Assad and the Syrian people. They pledged to continue their loyalty to their homeland Syria. The Syrian prisoners in the Israeli jails asserted that Israel's policy of repression will not weaken their will and determination to confront the Israeli occupation, no matter what sacrifices would be.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Cabinet approved a bill provides for ratifying the tourism cooperation agreement with the government of Sudan and a draft bill on amending law no 60 for 1979 for compulsory purchase of lands for building housing complexes in main cities of the country's provinces.
