King Mohammed visits sixth october city and artistic production city

Morocco's King Mohammed VI on Tuesday visited some industrial units of the City of October 6th, 30 km northwest of Cairo.

The king heard explanations on a house-appliance industrial unit and toured the Egyptian Media Production City, where he was welcomed by Egyptian information minister Safwat Al-Sharif.

The king and party watched a documentary film on October 6th city, built in the 1980's, and on the industrial units it harbors.

He also visited the various aisles of NILE SAT firm, which boasts more than 63 Arab, Egyptian and international digital TV channels and shooting studios of several TV serials where he met several Egyptian stars, including the famed actress Fatine Hamama who plays the leading role in a TV series "Wajh Al-Qamar."

The king also toured shooting studios of the "Aida-Opera" series wherein actors Yahia Al-Fakharani and Ahmed Bedir play the first roles. The tour also included areas sheltering Pharaonic and Muslim Egypt sets.
