Annan's envoy arrives at M.E

UN special envoy to the ME region Terry Larsen arrives today in the region amid anxiety and anticipation regarding events in south Lebanon. Arab sources said that Larson will carry messages to the Syrian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Israeli and Egyptian officials from the U.N secretary general that urge self-control and the necessity to end the condition through which the Middle East is passing through whether concerning the halt in the peace process or the anxiety which started to occur once again, adding that Larson will meet the high ranking officials in these countries and that he carries some answers on proposals he received during his tour in the area in last month."
