Lebanese president: Israel's withdrawal not sufficient for just peace

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud has stated that the victory which is being realized now in Lebanon is not establishing a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
Commenting on the liberation of the Lebanese towns and villages in the south, the Lebanese President said that peace requires the restoration of all occupied lands including Shebaa farms, the release of all detainees, guaranteeing the right of the Palestinian refugees to return to their land and the restoration back of the occupied Golan heights.
Talks to a delegation representing the liberated town of Aaramti, the Lebanese President congratulated the Lebanese national resistance men and the Lebanese army for the great sacrifices they offered.
He stressed that those who collaborated with Israel will be tried in accordance with the Lebanese laws.
