Bahrain denies withdrawal from the Gulf Cooperation council

Well-informed Bahraini sources on Monday deliberately denied news reports which stated that al-Manama has the intention to withdraw from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stressing Bahrain's commitment to the GCC.
The sources said in statements to the Bahrain's al-Ayam paper that the GCC constitutes a depth for Bahrain and a choice, adding that Bahrain always stands among the vanguards of those who carry out all decisions released by the GCC and always committed itself to this common Gulf body ( the GCC).
The same sources welcomed the reaction made by the Arab Gulf sisterly stated in their complete understanding to the Bahraini stand. The sources also expressed complete appreciation for all efforts made by " brothers in the GCC members state in order to reach an amicable and friendly solution for all disagreements with Qatar."
