Mubarak in Madrid on May 29

Spanish Ambassador in Cairo Alfonso Ortiz welcomed the state visit to be paid by President Mubarak to Spain on May 29. In an exclusive interview with Al-Gomhuria, the Spanish Ambassador said meetings and contacts are continuing between Mubarak and Carlos whether in Sharm el-Sheikh in 1996 or in Cairo in 1998 or during the Africa-Europe Summit last April, which positively helps boost and beef up historical ties between both countries.
