Arab agriculture engineers meeting to focus on good management

The executive bureau of the Arab agriculture engineers union which met in Tunis May 15-16, decided to hold the union's next congress in Morocco in November 2001.

In view of Morocco's rich experience in matters of management of natural resources, especially in the field of water harnessing thanks to the dams policy initiated by late King Hassan II and carried on by King Mohammed VI, participants in the Tunis meeting decided to hold the next congress in Morocco in November 2001, said secretary general of the Moroccan agriculture engineers association and assistant secretary general of the Arab agriculture engineers union, Abdessalam Debbagh.

Food security and means to ensure a good management and a better exploitation of natural resources in the Arab states were among the issues probed at the Tunis meeting.
