Morocco to increase number of consulates and embassies

The number of Moroccan consulates and embassies will be increased in the coming years to ensure a better follow up of issues related to Moroccan nationals settled abroad. The announcement was made by Moroccan minister in charge of Maghreban and Arab and Islamic Affairs, Abdesslam Znined at the upper house oral question session held in Rabat Tuesday.
Znined said that the 35 Moroccan consulates and embassies are being equipped with technical means to fulfill their mission in the best conditions and meet the needs of the 2,250,000-strong expatriate community, half of whom are aged below 25.
