Israel continues strikes against South Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday continued their aggressions against the towns of South Lebanon and its western Bekaa.

The Israeli artillery bombarded Hasbaya and the western Bekaa districts and concentrated its bombardment on Zalaya valley, Qelya, al-Dallafah, al-Sarira heights and al-Leitani river course.

On Tuesday at dawn, the Israeli helicopters bombarded the outskirts of Khurbet Soloum and fired three air to surface rockets.

On Monday after mid night the Israeli warplanes raided twice Sujoud mountain and Aqmata district at al-Tuffah area.

Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday renewed their violation of the April Understanding and bombarded the residential areas in Arab Salim town.

According to Lebanese security sources the three Israeli shells were fired on Tuesday at Arab Salim state's run school and it was a miracle the students survived. Many of the students collapsed of horror resulting from the attacks.

One shell was dropped at the town's clinic which resulted only in material losses.

On another development, the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from al-Kadar position in the western sector which overlooks the coast of South Lebanon and handed it over to the Lahd hireling militias.

Sources of the Israeli occupation forces said the evacuation operation from this position was carried out on Tuesday at dawn.

On Monday night, the Israeli occupation army evacuated several heavy vehicles from al-Shureiqi position in the central sector, adjoining Marjyoun town, where the headquarters of the leaderships of both the Israeli occupation and the Lahd militia agents.

In retaliation, the Lebanese national resistance carried out a series of operations against the Israeli occupation positions and the hireling militias.

In a statement, the Lebanese national resistance said one of its groups attacked the Zaghleh barracks of the occupation forces which also include the leadership center of contingent number 30 of the hireling militias and direct hits were achieved.

The Lebanese national resistance men also attacked al-Ahmadeyah position and the occupation position at Abu Qamha and Beer Klaab position.

Direct and precise hits were scored, the statement added.

On Tuesday afternoon, according to further reports from South Lebanon attacked the Israeli occupation position in Beer Klaab. In a statement, the Lebanese national resistance said that a group of resistance men attacked using machine guns and missiles the said positions and direct hits were achieved.

Other news reports from South Lebanon said that two Israeli soldiers were wounded as a result of an attack carried out by the Lebanese national resistance against Ramya position.

The Israeli occupation forces command in the occupied part of south Lebanon said that the two soldiers were wounded while carrying out maintenance works in the said position situated in the Western sector.
