Arafat rejects Abd Rabo's resignation

The Palestinian president Yasser Arafat refused to accept the resignation of Yasser Abd Rabo who heads the Palestinian negotiating delegation in the final status negotiation. El-Taeb Abd El-Rahim, secretary of affairs of the Palestinian presidentship said that "President Arafat has complete trust in Abd Rabo." Rabo presented his resignation yesterday in a protest upon disclosure that there were additional Palestinian - Israeli negotiations being held in Sweden without his knowledge.
