Morocco, Belgium sign cooperation accords in justice

Morocco and Belgium initialed in Rabat on Monday a set of cooperation agreements in the field of justice.
The accords were initialed by visiting Belgian justice minister, Marc Verwilghen and Moroccan peer Omar Azziman at a meeting that assessed bilateral relations in civil, penal and penitentiary matters.
The two sides looked into actions undertaken by the Moroccan-Belgian joint commission especially with regard to the question of Moroccan nationals settled in Belgium.
According to the latest available figures, the Moroccan community settled in Belgium is 200,000 strong.
Bilateral cooperation in legal matters was also at the focus of talks the Belgian official had separately with Moroccan premier Abderrahmane El Youssoufi and secretary of State for foreign affairs, Taib Fassi Fihri.
