Tunisian journalist ends hunger strike

Taoufik Ben Brik, the Tunisian journalist ended his hunger strike yesterday as his sister said that he ended up his hunger strike by having his first meal since 42 days in a Paris hospitals where he is having medical checks.
Ending his hungers strike coincided with releasing his brother Jalal who was accused of insulting a Tunisian policeman.
Tawfik said "releasing my brother is a victory due to combining many efforts especially by the press and the support of international organizations," adding "we are not satisfied with what happened in the human rights' record and this is the first step that must be enhanced by others," adding "I can not live away from Tunis," excluding having a problem with the government following his return.
