El-Zaenoun: Declaring the Palestinian State is necessary

Head of the Palestinian national council Salim El-Zaenoun said "the Palestinian people are addressing today a message to the world on the anniversary of the Palestinian crisis saying that no nation could seize another nation" emphasizing the necessity of declaring the Palestinian state in September. He said the Palestinian central council will convene on September 13 which is the set date for ending the transitional stage in the Oslo agreement. He added that it is necessary "whether we reach an agreement with Israel at that time or not to declare the state on the Palestinian lands."
